A traditional home is stripped of ornamentation, whitewashed, and re-envisioned as extruded, modern forms. The landscape serves to soften and humanize these moves - tree frame a rectangular light well, hillocky grasses texturize and enliven ground planes, and swaths of seedheads capture the breeze.
