Riverbend Hideaway, Under Construction
Design & Technical Co-Lead, with Groundswell Garden Design PDX
This garden at the edge of the Willamette River embraces the formal and wild. Guests are greeted by stone capped columns, directing the eye to a tree-framed view of the front facade. Wandering down the front wild meadow (edged by Boxwood), side gardens with she-sheds, saunas and cold plunges await. At the back, grand river views can be enjoyed from the gracious deck or Bluestone terrace, and particularly cozy at the outdoor fireplace. Terraced below are vegetable and cutting gardens accessed through gentle walks and stone slab steps.
