Riverbend Hideaway, Under Construction
Design & Technical Co-Lead, collaboration with Groundswell Garden Design PDX
The Riverbend Hideaway garden on the upper banks of the Willamette River embraces the formal and wild. Guests are greeted by stone capped columns, directing the eye to a tree-framed view of the front facade. Wandering down the front boxwood-edged meadow, side gardens with she-sheds, saunas and cold plunges await. At the back property, grand river views can be enjoyed from the gracious Accoya deck and Bluestone terrace, and from the cozy outdoor fireplace lounge. Terraced below are vegetable and cutting gardens accessed through gentle walks and stone slab steps.
Scope includes full site improvements, including new hardscape, driveway, decks, renovated slope garden, fireplace, pergola/fences/gates, terraced formal gardens, meadow, drainage, irrigation and planting.
